Electric Oven and Cooktop Installations

Maxx Electrical can guide you through the whole process, from figuring out what will fit to installing your new oven, stove or cooktop and disposing of the old appliance.
Before going to shop for your new appliance you need to know a few things about what you are after. Here are some things you should know before buying your new cooktop, stove or oven.
- What is the size of your cutout? Your cutout is the dimension of the cavity left in your cabinetry or bench to accommodate your appliance. Even though many appliances look the same they may have slightly different cut-outs which make installation difficult. Give Maxx a call and we can have an electrician come out and measure up your cutout so you know what you buy will fit without expensive cabinet or benchtop modifications.
- How much power do you have available? This is extra important when considering a new cooktop. New induction cooktop are fantastic but they require more amps than a standard electric cooktop. Give Maxx a call and we can help you identify how much power you have available and can quote on an upgrade if you want to get the latest technology.
When you get your new oven, stove or cooktop, we can install it, show you some basics on how to care for it and take your old appliance away and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way.
Get back to cooking sooner by having Maxx Electrical help out with the installation of your new oven, cooktop or stove.
